How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Cucumber Salad

Cucumbers are the stars of a new documentary by National Review.

The film, Cucumbusta, is set to be released on July 12, and I am thrilled to have it on my Netflix queue.

In it, director Michael Fassbender follows the rise of the cucumber as a vegetable and the rise in popularity of the dish as an entree.

He also tells the story of how his wife, writer and restaurateur Lisa Loves Cucumots, and their son, who is also a cucumburst enthusiast, started their family with their own kitchen.

You can find Cucombusta on Netflix or at Amazon.com and other retailers.

The filmmakers also have a new book out titled Cucucumber: The Essential Culinary History.

The book includes recipes and information about the plant.
